Shane’s career to date encompasses a colourful variety of experiences. Having graduated from UCD with an Hons. Engineering Degree, Shane worked for many years as a Manager in an Irish International Company, employing over 10,000 people in Heavy Industry. His success as a Manager was indicative of his deep interest, concern and understanding of his staff, his colleagues and his peers. It was this quality that led him to further develop his career into the area of Psychotherapy, Counselling, Life Coaching and Business Executive Coaching.

Shane has also worked extensively in Africa, the Far East and North America. He is acclaimed in the International Business Community. Apart from his Business Management and Consultancy experience, Shane has a developed a comprehensive depth of experience as a Practitioner in the field of Psychotherapy/Counselling and Life and Business Executive Coaching.

In his Practice, Shane works through a Humanistic and Integrative process with his clients. With expertise in a wide range skills such as Person Centred Therapy, Relationship and Couples Therapy (including The Relationship Breakdown Process), Integrative Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, etc., Shane has the capacity to adopt the therapeutic approach to professionally meet the unique requirements of each individual Client.

With a convincing belief in the potential of each individual, Shane has an impressive record working with Clients having low self-worth (including suicidal thoughts) and with teenagers and adolescents who are experiencing ‘difficult times’.

Shane also has a great knowledge of and experience in the area of Child Protection and has played an active role in the Legal and Courts process in relation to what is ‘in the best interest of Children’.

Shane is also a qualified Critical Incident and Stress Management Consultant.
