Veronica Dunne

Counsellor & Psychotherapist, Executive & Life Coach, Systemic Family Therapist.

Veronica is a qualified Counsellor and Psychotherapist with a BSc in Counselling & Psychotherapy from Middlesex University and a Diploma in Counselling & Psychotherapy from PCI College in Dublin. Veronica is an fully accredited member of the Irish Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (IACP).

Veronica is a professionally qualified Executive & Life Coach with an Accredited Diploma in Life & Executive Coaching from the Positive Success Group in Marino Institute of Education. Veronica also achieved a QQI Level 6 in Professional Coaching Practice and Ethics.

Currently Veronica is completing her Masters in Systemic Family Psychotherapy, having already achieved her Higher Diploma in the same.

Veronica has practiced as a Counsellor & Psychotherapist for over 11 years both on a freelance basis working for agencies and in her own private practice. She works with individuals/children/adolescents/couples/families covering a broad range of issues such as depression, bereavement, trauma, childhood abuse, sexuality, self- esteem, personal development, bullying, separation & divorce, intimacy, loss of identity, anger, loneliness, conflict management, panic attacks, anxiety and stress.

Veronica’s style of counselling is supportive, focusing on listening to the client/s and providing insight into how change can be effected in their lives or helping them to live more creatively with that which cannot be changed. She has an eclectic style of counselling and uses different schools of therapy depending on the client/s needs: systemic framework while using body work, art therapy and directive or cognitive approaches may be employed, all within the client’s comfort zone.
